DRY NEEDLING
Dry needling is a targeted treatment used to relieve muscle pain and improve movement. We will use a very fine, sterile needle and place it into muscle tissue that is causing discomfort. Otherwise known as trigger points! This treatment helps by reducing tension and pain.
Often when the needle finds a tight and inflamed muscle it causes a small twitch, this is totally normal! The muscle tissue twitches as the needle is in a trigger point, which is stimulating nerve endings and motor-end plates.
CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENTS
Chiropractic adjustments are quick, precise movements (known as a ‘thrust’) used to treat musculoskeletal pain. These movements are brief stretches in the joint which stimulate nerve receptors in muscles and ligaments that surround the joint. These adjustments can be made to the spine (cervical, thoracic and lumbar), peripheral joints (shoulder, wrist, hip, knee or ankle) and jaw.

Exercise rehab is the use of exercises or movements to target certain muscles to aid in recovery. These movements can aid in recovery from injury, surgery or chronic pain conditions. The main focus is to restore strength, normal range of motion and function. Exercise rehab can also prevent injury from recurring!
